Practical parasite control – Moxistar Long-Acting Injection for Sheep delivers extended protection from a single injection.

Containing moxidectin in a long-acting formulation, it provides sustained control of internal parasites in sheep during periods of challenge.

When administered at the recommended dose rate, Moxistar LA Sheep Injection provides:

  • At least 91 days persistent activity against Barber’s Pole worm (Haemonchus contortus)
  • At least 91 days persistent activity against Small Brown Stomach worm (Teladorsagia circumcincta)
  • Up to 49 days persistent activity against Black Scour worm (Trichostrongylus spp.)
  • During periods of severe Barber’s Pole worm challenge, protection may extend for up to 4 months when used as directed.
  • Provides long-acting control of key internal parasites in sheep, including extended protection against barber’s pole worm and small brown stomach worm.
  • Delivers persistent activity against black scour worm and helps protect sheep under heavy parasite challenge.

Withholding Period/ESI

  • Meat: 91 days
  • Milk: Do not use in female sheep which are producing, or may in the future produce, milk or milk products for human consumption
  • ESI: 133 days
