The Hunter River Company was established in 2012 on the back of a wealth of industry experience & knowledge in Australian farming. The objective was to create a range of products that would give farmers more choice of good value high quality products. Keeping costs down and profits in Australia meant key to the success of the company.
Acquired in 2018 by another locally-owned company AIRR (Australian Independent Rural Retailers), the Hunter River company continues to provide high quality products at good prices for farmers across Australia. Local development continues using the best of Australian laboratories and manufacturing facilities, guided by a wealth of animal health industry experience.
All of our products are made in Australia in dedicated veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities – that also supply products to large multi-national companies. Our products are fully approved by the APVMA and they are put through rigorous quality assurance testing before they are released into the market.
